The questions that come up, and their answers.
elxr.lol is a link-in-bio and file-hosting service: it lets you build a personal page that gathers your socials, links and media, at elxr.lol/your-username.
No: anyone can create a page, with no connection to Elixir RP required. If you play roleplay — on Elixir RP or elsewhere — you can also add a character card to your page (name, server, faction, job, bio). Optional, and editable whenever you want.
Yes, but not every day: a 3-day delay applies between changes. A changed username breaks every link already shared — that is the reason for the delay. If you want a second address without losing the first, add an alias: both lead to the same page.
A preset replaces colours, effect, font and layout. It touches neither your username, nor your description, nor your links, nor your images. Everything stays editable afterwards: it is a starting point, not a lock.
Discord caches the image on its side, sometimes for hours, and we have no way to make it forget. The preview shown in “Share my page” is the up-to-date one.
Not for now. Your address stays elxr.lol/your-name, and your aliases work the same way.
From “My servers”, in your account: give its name and something to verify you’re really its founder or an admin. The page goes public once our team approves it. If your server already has a neutral page — created automatically because someone mentioned it in a character card — the “Claim this community” button on that page does the same thing.
That is the browser, not your page: all of them refuse to play sound before the visitor has clicked, tapped, or pressed a key — scrolling alone does not count. Playback therefore starts on the first gesture of that kind. To make that gesture expected rather than accidental, turn on the entry screen: the visitor lifts the veil, and the sound starts then.
Two things: staging your page, and making automatic playback reliable. It only appears once the page has loaded, so it hinders neither search engines nor someone browsing without JavaScript.
Images, videos and audio, within your storage limit. Every upload gives you a short link with a clean Discord preview. You can hide the extension in the link, and keep your username out of previews.
Create an upload key under “Files”, then set it in ShareX. It is as good as a password: do not share it, and regenerate it if you lose it — the old one stops working.
No cookies, no IP addresses kept, no cross-site tracking. We count views, clicks, device type and referrer, nothing more. Nobody is identified, neither you nor your visitors.
Turn on two-factor authentication under “Security”, and generate recovery codes you keep offline. They let you take back control if you lose access to your Discord. You can also close sessions opened elsewhere.
Yes, from “My data”, at any time and without justification. The file contains your profile, links, files and history — with no IP addresses, since we keep none.
Your page becomes unreachable immediately and your files are removed. Your username stays reserved: otherwise someone could take it back and inherit the audience of your old links.
Didn’t find it? The report link at the bottom of every page reaches us too. elxr.lol
